Okay, I'm really into Tales games, Sooo, I'm making this RPG,
For those of you who've played the game, this will start out similarly, but will "evolve" differently,
For those of you who have played the game, but don’t like it, you have a choice about whether or not you want to play
For those of you that haven't, well, I'll explain the basic Story: (note: Important things will be underlined)
The world that the Charas live on is called Sylvarant, it has several continents, and a few major cities, and many small towns. The Players start off in Iselia, a small town in the NE corner of the world (manner of speaking, World IS round) And with all places, Sylvarant comes with it’s own legends, the most prominent of these is the Tale of the Chosen’s journey to regenerate the world, which goes as follows:
“Once upon a time, there existed a giant tree, known as the Giant Kharlan Tree, this tree was the source of all mana, or the life force of the world, A war however, caused this tree to wither away, and a Hero’s life was sacrificed in order to take it’s place. The Goddess Martel, Grieving over the loss disappeared unto the Heavens. She left the Angels with this edict: ‘You must wake me, for if I should sleep, the world shall be destroyed’ The Angels bore the Chosen who headed to tower that reached up into the heavens, The Tower of Salvation”, and that marked the beginning of the Chosen’s Regeneration of the world.”
Wow, long story… just to let you know, just because this game has a goddess instead of God, doesn’t mean that it is against religion to RP it, I mean I’m RPing it, anyways,
Here’s some more information:
The world suffers from a race of Half-Elves known as Desians, because of this, most Humans and Elves Believe that all Half-Elves are Evil, but this is not true.
Many people believe that the Desians coincide with the World’s mana shortages, the lack of Mana causes the goddess’s seal to weaken, allowing the Desians to get into Sylvarant. Thus, the upon the completion of the chosen’s journey, the Desians would be sealed away
There are also Inhumane “Human Ranches” which the Desians keep, in which humans are held prisoner, in exchange for leaving the ranches alone, the inhabitants of the cities and towns are safe, and that is how the story will begin,
Exspheres: are devises that amplify the strength of the wearer, about 25% of the populace (along with 100% of the Desians) carry them (are embedded in your skin) ewwww.
Iselia: Has a one room school house, is a small town
Character Information!!!
You Chara can be 1 of 4 different species: Human, Elf, Dwarf or Half-Elf,
Elves are very secretive, and wouldn’t say they were elves to any one other then close friends, keep that in mind
Here are the Party slots/ Classes
Fighter: can not use magic, but is excellent with the chosen weapons, can dual wield or single wield(can also use fists or feet) 1) 2)
Combat-mage:not accepting anymore of this class one who uses both a weapon and magic, cannot Dual wield, but may use a sword and a shield (or other weapons) 1)Mithos Riedaro 2)Twilight Full, no more plz
Mage: can only use very weak weapons (i.e. Kendama or Knives) but can cast a large variety of spells 1) 2)
Healer: usually uses a staff, but can use other weaker weapons, knows very few attack spells, but can really help the party survive in rough battles 1) 2)
Summoner: can summon creatures after creating a pact with it, (will be explained if someone chooses to be one) uses light, enchanted weapons 1) 2)
Chosen: There is only ONE chosen (has to be a human), can use any weapon, but can’t use spells other then “Angel” spells acquired later in the game. 1)
?????: Yes, there IS a secret class that all of the classes can get added onto them, if you want to know, PM me before making your Charas history (or you can acquire it later =P)

Name: Mithos Riedaro (Mithos is a COMMON boy’s name, get over it)
Age: 15
Race: Half-elf
Exsphere: ?
Class: Combat Mage / ?
Weapon(s): Switch Staff / ?
Description: a Lanky(tall, thin) person, has Jet black hair, and blazing Red eyes
Usually wears a black & Red cloak/robe, Wears glasses
Personality: Funloving, all around good person, but knows when to get serious, also very organized, and either very humble, or has an inferiority complex =P Values his friend’s lives over his own
Background: Wandered into Iselia several years ago, and as recently begun living there and goes to the schoolhouse. Lives in the forest outside of town
